Finding time for planning of the class is very easy because that’s the creative part. I love doing that. If it weren’t for that, I might not be in teaching. What gives you the passion is the planning, executing the plan, and seeing how it works. If it works well, then it’s something you build on, and if it’s something that doesn’t work well, then you tweak it and come back the next year or the next period even and try it a different way. That is one of the real true fun things in teaching.
