| Description |
"EnCorps STEM Teachers Program recruits, selects, and supports STEM and CTE professionals who are interested in exploring or transitioning into teaching. Through structured volunteer classroom experience, coaching, and professional support, EnCorps helps industry professionals bring real-world STEM and career-connected expertise into middle and high school classrooms.
EnCorps Fellows begin by participating in Volunteer Guest Teaching, where they are matched with a host teacher and co-plan and deliver lessons in a STEM or CTE classroom. This experience allows Fellows to explore teaching while supporting students’ access to career-connected learning.
EnCorps serves multiple regions across California, including the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles and Pasadena Area, Orange County, Greater San Diego Area, Greater Riverside Area, and Greater Sacramento Area.
