How Can You Find Out what Teaching is Really Like?

Sometimes you have to actually try doing something to find out if you like it.

  • See if one of your teachers will let you help out as a teaching assistant or look into volunteering with a tutoring program.   • If you have a baccalaureate degree, substitute teaching is a great way to get some experience in the classroom without having to immediately complete the requirements for a credential.
