Distinguished Teacher Daisy Yeung

I was inspired to become a teacher by having great teachers myself. I also wanted to give back and even the playing field for students. It's professionally satisfying to work at a Title I school where I'm serving students that need my support.

My advice to new teachers is to find a school that gives you the best opportunity to succeed, to find a collaborative work environment where you have colleagues that become your friends in and out of school.
