Description
The federal National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent (SMART) Grants, awarded to third-, fourth-, and fifth-year undergraduates who are majoring in technical fields, critical foreign languages, or who are in a qualifying liberal arts program.
Award Amount
Up to $4,000 for each of the third and fourth year of undergraduate study.
Other Requirements/Conditions
You must be a US citizen, Pell Grant recipient, enrolled full-time in a four-year degree-granting institution, have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, and majoring in physics, life or computer science, engineering, mathematics, technology or a critical foreign language.
