How Can You Find Out what Teaching is Really Like?

Sometimes you have to actually try doing something to find out if you like it. See if one of your teachers will let you help out as a teaching assistant or look into volunteering with a tutoring program. You can also join a Future Teachers Club or a service learning program that might include tutoring activities.

If you have an AA degree, look into becoming a paraeducator.
