California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) new browser window icon
The commission is the State's agency that is responsible for the establishment of requirements for credentials that authorize public school teaching and services; standards for programs that prepare public school personnel; standards for subject matter programs; assessments of skills and knowledge; as well as the enforcement of professional practices standards.
