Be consistent with your students by following through on what you expect from them and what you will deliver. Don't sweat the small stuff, you will make mistakes, you will realize there was a better way to go about doing something and you chose a completely different path. It's okay, learn from those mistakes and correct them and move on.
Having fun with my students while learning at the same time. The ability to help a child achieve, or to see them find interest in a subject because of something you have done, is very rewarding.
