I remember last…my first term. It was just…I gave so many assignments, and I had so many things going on. I’m trying to prepare lesson plans, and the homework-the assignments I needed to grade would just pile up higher and higher and higher. And they would get mixed together between different classes, and it was just a mess. So this term, what I did was, I actually have a filing system over there, and they [students] actually go and put their assignment in when they’ve completed it. And it’s all separated already by class period. You really have to grade everyday, like during prep period, just to keep on top of it, not to backtrack and have pile of it to do everyday. And your tests, getting them corrected right away is really important because the kids want to see the results the next day. So that’s kind of a struggle sometimes, when you have other obligations, like staff meetings and tutoring and things like that.
