There are several things. There’s parent contacts. I am on the phone a lot contacting parents, and I’m department chair, so there are a lot of things that I need to be up on with being the department chair. Testing. We just had Star 9 testing and with me being the department chair, I had to organize all the math teachers, and we have 14 of them, to what they needed to do correctly. Then we have WASC which is the Western Association of School and Colleges and we are getting a WASC review this year and next year, so me being department chair, I get to run our departments doing WASC also. But I think parent contact, they aren’t a challenge, they are just an extra, I guess it is a challenge. The grading, that takes; there’s a lot of grading. Lesson plans, when you are teaching a new class, like in two years, I’m going to be teaching calculus, which means it’s going to require me next year to spend zero period every day of my time from seven to eight sitting in on the calculus classes being taught right now so I can review the stuff that I haven’t seen for 20 years. So those are some challenges I have.
